SunKid
SunKid, due to its adjustable lengths (6 - 51 meters
and longer) and width, enables people to be transported
on every suitable type of terrain from a 00 to 300 gradient.
The length and width variance is abtained through the
use of individual segments similar to those of a modular
system. The surface of the belt is nonslip when dry
as well as in rain or snow and ice.  An
access ramp, which is part of the structure, has been
attached to both sides of the conveyor belt over its
entire length. This ramp ends at the same time, serves
as an entrance, exit and stabilizer for the passenger
The
main period of use is in the winter months.
 The
c onstruction has been designed accordingly. The function
as well as the UV-resistance of all components are
so specified that the conveyor belt can be operated
at elevations between 0m and 3,000m above sea level.
The transport facility requires no maintenance. The
proper tools for assembling and disassembling as well
as cleaning the machine are included in the delivery.
 As
the transport facility is used as a mobile for of
equipment, structural stabilizers such as foundations,
etc. are not necessary. The structure is self-supporting
and the transport on the conveyor belt and its function
are not impaired when the structure is installed on
uneven and concave-convex support, even in case of
torsion (snow and ice base)
The
structure is equipped with special gliders for changing
locations. Safety devices in case of heavy snowfall,
rain (possible sleet etc) and snow drifts are optional
for the transport facility. These safety devices can
be quickly and easily removed for transporting or
during proper weather conditions.
An
electric drive was chosen due to the place where it
is used. The turn-on voltage of the terminal for switching
it on//off is 24VDC. Environmental conditions in terms
of emissions, electromagnetic rays, noise level, etc
were complied with in accordance with country –specific
standards and CEN regulations. The transport facility
was typified and approved by the authorities in charge.
No application for a license needs to be filed to
operate the machine.
The
same applies to the safety precautions. Safety precautions
were added in such a way that they can be switched
off automatically in case of danger without the aid
of personnel via a rocker button ot the pinion end
(mountain station) and only switched on again via
the terminals controlled by specially trained persons.
